Martin Lawrence, Wife Shamicka to Divorce

Martin Lawrence and his wife Shamicka are calling it quits.

"Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce," a rep for the Big Momma's House star told People. "The couple has made the joint decision to part ways."

The couple had been together for 15 years before getting married less than two years ago in Beverly Hills ... who says getting married doesn't change anything.

Whatever the reason, the split is amicable and mutual.

"Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together," the couple said in a joint statement.

The 47-year-old Lawrence, who also appeared in the Bad Boys films, just finished a nationwide sold-out comedy tour and a shot a comedy pilot for CBS.

He wed the former Shamicka Gibbs in July 2010.

Facebook for Windows Phone getting a major refresh

Facebook for Windows Phone getting a major refresh, now with less suck

The Facebook app for Windows Phone is certainly serviceable, but it's never really been anything to get excited about. In fact, it wasn't really something you looked forward to using and it's been slow to add the features considered standard on competing mobile platforms. Well, with the soon to land version 2.5, that capability gap will get quite a bit smaller. It hasn't hit the Marketplace yet, but when it does it'll bring support for group chats, threaded messaging, tagging in posts and the ability to like or delete not only posts but comments as well. The photo pages have also gotten a visual refresh and you can now tap on links in posts to go straight to the relevant content. For a few more details hit up the source, and keep checking the Marketplace for updates -- Facebook promises it won't be long now.

LG's 5-inch Optimus Vu shipping soon in white (in Korea, at least)

white lg optimus vu smartphone

Just under two months after LG's Optimus Vu got priced for the hometown market, in flies news that another hue will soon be on those very same shelves. The 5-inch, 4:3 ratio'd Android smartphone will soon hit South Korea in white, purportedly targeting the "younger" market -- you know, folks who like "cool" things (LG's translated words, not ours). Folks can look for the device -- which should remain unchanged outside of the external color -- to hit SK Telecom as early as next week, but there's no word on when (or if) it'll spread to other markets.
